Bret Broadway, the son of MB and InsyX, was adopted on SL by us on April 6th, 2007. we have cared for the kid like he was our real life son. Well actually, we think of him as our RL son. He is the heart and soul of our family. The purest of hearts, and the clearest of minds, yet so filled with so much love to give.
Along with Bret’s real life caretakers (Master’s Vinny and Stan, and their “chief of staff” Bob), we look out for his health and best interests. We try to give him the childhood he never had in real life due to abusive situations. Bret is autistic, but it is not a shortcoming for him. It is a challenge. He is smart and quick to learn things and build and create. These are things that either we taught him, or he learned on his own by watching and learning, then repeating. This has been done to the point that he now has a main store (BROADWAY CREATIONS), and an art exhibit at Hyperion Art Gallery (like father like son hehe).
It has been over a year since MB and I been his dads. It is so far the best year of our life and the best part of our marriage was getting him. Bret is playful and loves his pets so much. Yes on SL he has what can be probably a few farms worth of animals.
He is so much fun to hang out with during the day and explore the wonders of SL, and at night he dances by my side (along with MB) while I am DJing my ass off. He’s always looking out for his dads and will protect us strongly. Why? Well simple, cause we will protect him with all our strength and heart, till the day we die.
Bret, I love u so much with my whole heart and soul. You are our first son and the youngest, yet you are so wise that you don’t even know how wise and smart you are. Scary huh? Well you just keep being you kiddo and all the good things in life will always find their way to you, just like me and MB found our way to adopting you. And like you finding your way to such a great family that loves you so much.
